Western ghats

My trip through western ghat region in Southern India on my way to Kerala has been the most memorable trip for me. The hairpin turns along the mountains were so steep that it sent a chill up my spine. But the view of the luscious forests along the mountains, the river streams flowing by, the tantalizing waterfalls and the brief passages through tunnels made it worth it all. High up the mountain, I could actually see the clouds pass beneath me. The air smelled so fresh and the weather so perfect, I wished the trip would last for a lifetime.
